“Melting Point” was photographed outside of the iconic Sprinkles ice cream shop in Palm Beach, an idyllic afternoon tradition steeped in nostalgia from the vintage Pucci tunic to the fondly remembered Royal Poinciana Way stopover.

This series is inspired by glimpses of being on holiday, wherever that may bring one around the world. It could be a small intimate moment, memories of the day, or a grand vista.

Carrie Weidner is inspired by raw, spontaneous and candid moments anchored by a love of tradition and a reverence for true, timeless beauty and classic composition. She immerses her subjects in a world that is part real, part imagination, so the results inhabit a place that feels both new and nostalgic.

All works in the collection are dated and editioned in verso and hand sealed on the bottom right hand corner, in an edition of 15 each.
